I’m so excited because this is my first post on The Sweet Vogue! I’ll be sharing my love of style & fashion, my travels, as well as style inspiration from trends and design. I’ll also be sharing my love and knowledge of food, health, and wellness for optimal health through gluten free and paleo recipes!
I have always been passionate about fashion and design since I can remember. When I was Miss Ottawa and took park in the Miss Canada pageant one of my favourite parts of preparing for the pageant was choosing my pageant gowns and outfits for pageant week. During my time as Miss Ottawa I got to raise awareness about the importance of gut health for maintaining a healthy mind and body. I’ve had celiac(gluten allergy) for over 10 years and a passion for healthy living; I will be sharing gluten free and paleo recipes for optimal health. I am also a Ballroom dancer and one of my favourite parts was designing my costumes. I have a degree in Communications, and a post-graduate in Journalism. I co-founded a sustainable design online education company. So, there’s a little bit about me!
Thank you for following along and I hope you enjoy! xx, Jenna
I wore this dress a couple of weeks ago to a party at a yacht club, and it was the perfect dress for the occasion because it’s comfortable while not being too overdressed. The dress has a touch of sass appeal with the sheerness of the dress, which I love! The taupe/ green colour makes it great for the fall and winter season. I paired the dress with my lady-like suede Michael Kors pumps (similar style here). I plan on wearing this dress again over skinny pants or with nylons/tights this winter season. XX, Jenna
